I personally just like using the computer, keyboards make me feel more at home.

Gather resources to craft items and structures that match your survival style. Enter a strange and unexplored world full of strange creatures, dangers, and surprises. You know you can do that on PC too, right? Don’t Starve Together is the standalone multiplayer expansion of the uncompromising wilderness survival game, Don’t Starve. I'm glad I have both, though, because I am so excited for DST that I can barely sit still! If you don't care about that, I guess my recommendation would be for the console version. Ultimately, it's about Don't Starve Together. Reign of Giants is available for the PS4 so that shouldn't be an issue. For example, in the Steam version your inventory is effectively one slot larger since you can "hold something in your hand," whereas on the PS4 version you can freeze the game while you contemplate your inventory with R2, There are little differences that can change gameplay, but I think they more or less balance out in the end so they probably shouldn't influence your decision. (Although I admit the mod to organize your inventory is really, really awesome.) The mods are really fun, and I'm glad I got to play them, but for me personally I really enjoy sitting on the couch with a controller and the game at full 55" glory. I got the console version first, and then got the steam version to be ready for Don't Starve Together and to try out the mods.
